Denmark has some of the strictest smoking laws in the world. In 2007, the country implemented a comprehensive smoking ban that prohibits smoking in all enclosed public spaces, including restaurants, bars, and workplaces.
The law also bans smoking in outdoor areas such as playgrounds, sports grounds, and public transportation stations. Smoking is also prohibited within 10 meters of entrances to buildings. The only exception to the law is for designated smoking rooms in airports.
